Eye Tutorial with a Mouseby =Saccstry

Eye tutorials seem to be all over DA so I thought I’d make one of my own 8D. I draw entirely with my laptop mouse (or trackpad/touchpad as some call it), I don’t have a tablet. I hope this tutorial is useful for other laptop mouse users (..are there even any others?> <), but since almost everybody on this site seems to have a tablet, I hope it will be useful for you too

I used to draw all the eye stuff above the skin layer, but once I randomly tried to draw it under the skin layer, I found the result looks nicer and sharper. Experiment with different designs of the iris, it’s the funnest part to customize, endless possibilities

The layers from first to last are sclera, iris, pupil, grey shadow, redness, veins, shines, >skin<, eyelid, eyelashes. This way you can draw all over the place under the skin layer and it will only show through in the eye opening.
