your guys are kind of nice :> it seems like a small detail, but i love the bumps on his skin. like the outlines. you can see the dips and little holes. i like that a lot. have you thought about making infected wounds? :3
To draw men draw a triangle to the base of the face and draw eyes above it, to draw woman draw the eyes under the inside the triangle. That is how I was taught to do it in art school. Also men have harder curves on faces when women have rounder.
A few things that you can just do "generally" to make someone look more masculine. Color: going from top down we usually paint (just a low opacity color overlay will work) yellow on top of face/head, red through cheeks/nose & and green/blue through jawline/chin (simulates stubble) Structure: Men tend to have a more pronounced brow ridge - you draw stylized/anime, so you need to reference actual skulls for this (his right eye cant fit into his skull right now.) additionally - playing up the structure around the zygomatic arch will help this. Think about also giving a stronger chin/jaw and looking at how men age. Playing up the features I mentioned will also make them look older depending on how you do it - just something to think about.
If you want the face to have more "structure" then you may want to think about creating a stronger light source and chiseling the planes in harder. You may also want to use a harder brush for the face. Using soft airbrushes indicates subtle changes in the the planes and mens faces tend to be more angular & have harder features. This will also help your drawing of women if you paint with harder brushes because you will understand the structure better for when you switch back to a softer brush.
Hope that helps - I would have done a paintover but my photoshop is dead right now (hopefully not for long) you can drop me a line if you want help on something ever (I am bad about checking my DA regularly but I -will- reply if you mail me.)

It's not that she decided to name it misspelled - she just thought it looked more interesting than Rancid, and this way whenever someone is looking up your character they get exactly what they want and not a billion pictures of something rancid.
